Welcome to the YA Scavenger Hunt!

Hi! I’m Amy Fellner Dominy and I’m super excited to be hosting this section of the hunt.

GO TEAM BLUE!

In case you’re new to all of this—WELCOME! You’re going to be so glad you discovered YASH. 🙂 This bi-annual event was first organized by author Colleen Houck as a way to give readers a chance to gain access to exclusive bonus material from their favorite authors…and a chance to win some awesome prizes! On this hunt, you’ll get access to exclusive content from each author, and you also get a clue for the hunt. Add up the clues, and you can enter for the grand prize–one lucky winner will receive one book from each author on the hunt in my team! But play fast: this contest (and all the exclusive bonus material) will only be online for 120 hours!

Below you’ll find everything you need to know, along with some very cool bonus material from an author I’m about to introduce you to. But first, for those of you new to my site:

This is me.

And here are a few things about me:

I write contemporary YA romance.

I love bubble baths, red wine, and apple fritters.

I’m a cat person but I have a dog.

I’m always cold. (Probably from living in the Arizona desert.)

My newest YA novel is the swoony romance, Announcing Trouble. Somewhere on this blog hop, I’ve shared a deleted scene that I think will make you laugh and sigh and press the computer to your heart. But do it gently or that could hurt. 😉

One last thing before we get started:

BONUS GIVEAWAY
In addition to all the books you can win on the HUNT, I’m giving away
DOUBLE BOOK BONUS PACKS!
There will be TWO winners who each win TWO books!

ABOUT THE BOOK

Dexter never looks for trouble, it finds him. Moving to a small city from New York wasn’t his idea of an improvement. His dream of being a groomed as a pro football running back ended the moment his father uprooted his family. Day one, he landed in jail without bail and realized too late that his father made a deal to get him out—one that would change his life, and put his family forever in danger. Unfortunately, finding love always happens at the worst possible time. Dexter didn’t realize that love could also kill. Again, trouble…it finds him, but this time he’d face it – head on, and hope he survives. Prequel to Scepter of Fire Book 2 in The Vigilant Series

  2. Courtney Pierce Alright, this might just be a very tricky question! There are so many good qualities to look for! These days I find my favourite quality has changed. Now, I would have to say that my favourite quality in a book boyfriend is being charismatic and charming. I like a book boyfriend that knows what he wants!(: Also, this is unrelated to the question, but VERY much related to your books! The cover of The Fall of Grace is GORGEOUS!! <3 *insert heart eyes here* Seriously, saw that cover and knew there was no going back. I need to read this book of yours! Thanks for the opportunity to win some of your books! Happy YASH season!

  23. Ariana Velasquez Favorite boyfriend quality in books? Well, that’s an interesting question. Hmmmm, I have been reading a lot of boys being protective. I guess that? But I also like the guys who are funny and sarcastic. They bring the mood up whenever the situation goes downhill. Kinda like Jace from The Mortal Instruments. I guess him plus overprotective would be the kind of boyfriend I would look for the protagonist. Anyway, thank you for joining YASH! I love learning about new authors and their fab creations! I wish the best luck to your books and your future writings!

This is a good question 🤔 but I think my favorite book boyfriend quality is an innate sense of jokes (the magical ability to make the protagonist laugh at any time / anywhere / under any circumstances) and his caring side (whatever happens, even if the relationship end good or bad) he will be close to the protagonist! ❤️ I am a romantic dreamer! 🤭🤭 (i apologize for my bad english, i know it sucks 🤦‍♀️)

Catherine M. Haynes Book boyfriends are the best, love them and then they go away. But, I will have to admit that I am torn between the highlanders who sweep the ladies off their feet, and the kind and gentle man that only wants to cuddle. It just depends on the day and how good or bad my day has been. I love to read, just wish that I had more time to read Even though I do not work any more, I am always busy doing something for someone else.

I like when a book boyfriend is okay with stepping back and letting their SO make their own decisions and have independence outside the relationship. I get frustrated for characters who have overbearing SOs all the time so that's gotta be my favourite quality.
